Delhi Land Pooling Policy - A Precious Gift for Delhi Development
A precious gift has been given by Anil Baijal
(Lieutenant-Governor of Delhi) to Delhi named as Delhi Land Pooling (DLP)
policy. The policy got the approval from the Delhi development authority (DDA)
on 7 September 2018. Under this policy, the DDA will occupy the land own by the
landowners and compose them in a big land for development.
The most favorable part of this policy is that the owner can
receive back a fixed amount of the land after development. Land Pooling Policy will
change the old criteria of land acquisition in which Government occupy the land
by giving some compensation against the land and the ownership transfers to the
Government. In the old policy, the landowners were uncomfortable due to less
compensation and forcefully acquisition.
It is a good chance for landowners to serve the city. In
this way, they can play an important role in the development of the city.
According to the scheme, if a landowner offers 2 to 20 hectares of land then he
will get back his 48%, while for the 20% of land offered, the landowner will
get back 60% of his land after the development.
So, to offer more land is beneficial for both the parties.
This policy will provide us with residential buildings and
basic facilities like water supply, sewage system and drainage for daily life
at a reasonable cost.
Now, on Land Pooling policy, Delhi Development Authority and
Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs working on online portal for land
submission. this portal will Launch till end January 2019 We can expect
something positive soon.

The expectation from smart cities
There are a terrible part of "shrewd" things nowadays. Indeed, even numerous things that were beforehand "idiotic" are getting to be "savvy" through the expansion of sensors and choice rationale. From road lights to metros and everything in the middle of, the very towns and urban areas we occupy are joining the pattern of Delhi awas yojna.
As urban areas like Seoul and Vienna (among many) are utilizing innovation to patch up their correspondence framework and asset circulation, we as a whole have a chance to take in a few things about what we can expect when the "keen" mark gets slapped onto the towns and urban areas we call home.
Things being what they are, what makes a city shrewd?
Sadly, the expression "shrewd" applies just to the city itself and not its natives. A worldwide voyage through the world's most intelligent urban communities is not liable to be any more expressly illuminating than a walk around any of our standard old "moronic" urban areas.
In any case, this worldwide visit would likely uncover a portion as in dwarka smart city of the normal characteristics that these savvy urban communities share, and shed some light on how and where assets are being connected to make these urban communities quicker witted.
A city is for the most part thought to be shrewd when it separates itself from different urban areas as far as its innovation, urban arranging, environment, as well as general administration. Keen urban communities are required to be cleaner, more secure, and more effective than their idiotic brethren. This is proficient essentially through the use of new advances; additionally as often as possible requires altogether new models for association and administration.
A portion of the more unmistakable elements of today's shrewd urban areas include:
Green Buildings: Smart urban areas have a tendency to erect new structures (or implement laws obliging others to erect structures) that have the slightest conceivable natural effect - both amid development and operation. More seasoned structures can be retrofit with more proficient apparatuses and sensors to control lighting and temperature as by Delhi housing scheme.
Keen Mobility and Transport: Bike-sharing projects, brilliant movement lights, sensor-based stopping accessibility recognition, and on-going correspondence about open transportation are a portion of the signs of a savvy city.
More Efficient Utilities: notwithstanding utilizing elective vitality sources like sun oriented and wind, savvy urban areas are much of the time more slanted to utilize shrewd lattice innovation and utilize sensors to deal with the conveyance of water and decrease squander as seen in master plan Delhi 2021 and the land pooling policy. Obviously, these are only a couple of the numerous ways that urban communities are changing themselves as keen urban areas.
At times - in urban areas like Santiago and Tokyo - whole savvy groups are being produced by of these standards and that's only the tip of the iceberg by mpd 2021.

A Legal Passage to Free Farmers from Land Acquisition Policy
6:59:00 pm
delhi smart cities, delhilpp, land pooling policy
Farmers of any country are the backbone of that nation, they should be appraised and rewarded for their hardwork and all the efforts they put in to provide our basic necessity for living, i.e food. But in India farmers are always neglected by both government and common people.
The plight of the farmers in our country is so worse ,that even the news of a farmer's suicide is so common now a days, that they have now just become few words to fill in those blank spaces in newspapers. Due to this negligence by government day by day we are losing the gemstones of our country, which is a more severe loss for our nation.
They don’t even get that desired profit from their agriculture that they become helpless in providing their families basic needs of life. Those people supplying food to whole of the country starve for that food, and no one even cares about this.
The Land Pooling Policy was proposed by DDA to fulfil the housing needs of people and to give farmers justice against the long practiced Land Acquisition Policy, wherein the land of farmers were taken away at low rates.
The Land Pooling Policy is basically a process where farmers with small chunks of land can come together and pool it. The pooled land will then be developed by private developers. Once the development is completed 48-60% of the land is returned to the land owners.
LPP has the power to produce 20, 000-25,000 hectares of land. LPP if implemented will propel the mission of Master Plan Delhi 2021, which aims to provide housing to all by the year 2022.
